Fill Option issue

I'd love to fill but I tested it 2 weeks ago and was put as support 8 games in a row. There should be an option to "Fill - can't be put as the last played role" or something. Idk. I like being surprised, keeps the game interesting, but Fill is essentially the same as saying support right now.

Best I can do is play a support game, then queue for 2 other roles the next... but that ruins the surprise.

I liked playing starcraft as a random race, would love a similar option for league.

What you are looking for is a "random role" option, not the fill option. Fill means that you are filling in a spot in the queue, hence "fill". Fill is not "a randomly selected role".

If there was an option for that, nobody would play support besides support mains.

Also, ranked is about wanting to win. Either you're good at a specific role, or you fill in your team's weakest spot. If you got randomly placed in a spot and someone else got put in support, it's worse for the team than you getting the team's weakest role and everyone else getting what they want.

But what he's basically saying is it's not really fill anymore it's just another support button with odds of it becoming something else like 1 % of the time.

I always used to cheese random race players, at that time for Protoss there were safe builds against each race, but not a safe build that covered all 3 races. I'd rather take my chances with a proxy 2 gate then take a 1/3 chance of losing based on build order.
