I hope riot or someone read this pls remove the champions from the craftign system they are killing it .... i as a long ter player since ever ! .... i have enough ip to buy the next new chap as they coma out ...i dont neeed champ shard from the so hard to get keeyys
LostFr0st1 votesYou can use the champ shards to "buy" the new champ by re-rolling 3 shards. You'll get the new champ for 3x1700=5100ip instead of 7800ip. As for the ip you have saved: Riot has announced that they are going to allow us to buy chromas for ip. Maybe there'll be one you like?

Stop being a cry baby and acting like you are the only person who plays League of Legends or the only one that 'matters'. I find the mystery skin shard system to be extremely awesome for pulling champions at cheaper costs and selectively break down the ones i don't want and perm the ones i want, which lets me also get champions faster then it would take me to 'normally' earn a 4800~ to 6300 champion because i dont usually have the patience to farm 2k+ ip in a single day. Just recently my latest 2 mystery shards were fiddlesticks and Riven, which i've also gotten Zed and Fizz when i first started out, then later Renekton before i got some other interesting ones.
Its a fun system for the more simple players in a sense who especially don't spend RP, plus as LostFrost said, you can go dunk IP into 2k per color sales, letting you get one of the only chromas per champion ya really want, since like how some people pointed out: The Choma packs seemed like a lazy cash grab motive which was heavily bashed on for being just a lazy way for 'developers' to get lazy RP buyable 'pseudo-skins' to be bought. At least in this form its more flexible, its possible to get another appearance difference making item thru IP instead of RP, which lets more players get to express themselves better when they can just use chromas to recolor their own champion to stand out much better then plain vanilla champion or its 'vanilla skin'.
