I want to be able to change my summoner name and remove everyone from my friendlist without my friends finding me. The reason for this is that my IRL friends give me ladder anxiety, and i rarely play with them anyway. I have already tried this but they found me through lolking's match history. Is there a 100% failsafe way to do it?

Takyon11111111111 votesThey'll try finding my new account anyway. I'm 100% sure. Matters aswell since when i play with streamers etc and i fail, i get messages from them saying "NA X CHAMPION" etc. I just don't want anything to do with them when it comes to LoL.
First of all i play with streamers, secondly they look up my elo relatively often and comment about it since I'm higher than them. I just want to play soloq without thinking about being judged, and since i rarely if ever play normals I've got nothing to lose.

If you remove them from your friends list in game, or add them to the block list, their messages can't get to you from there. With how things are currently set up that's about the best you can do if they are that determined to stalk you.
RIP Tahm Kench1 votesIt's been a while since I've played, but I'm pretty sure there's a block list under the friends list. Add their names to that and they can't send you friend requests, and if you happen to bump into them in a match they're auto muted. No need to even change your user name

NoobLearninGame1 votesI'm not sure if paying for the RP to change your name alone will prevent them from finding you on Lolking if they've bookmarked it, since I'd guess the ID account # remains the same.
It might be possible to contact Riot support and see if they'll change things for you (namely the account number, along with the name if you pay for it) if you explain your situation.
