Balancing Issues

Since about the Juggernaut patch, myself and others in the League community have found that this game is progressively getting less fun to play. Yes I still enjoy it but not to the extent that I once did back during early Season 5. I think this comes down to a lot of the balance changes that riot has been making since the release of the Juggernaut patch and I believe there are some clear things that stand out that should be addressed.

For starters: Towers Making towers go down faster is creating faster games which while sometimes being a good thing is overall hurting the core of the game. This takes away from a lot of the late-game strategy and champions within the game that are no longer able to reach the point in the game where they are effective. Many people love these champions and find it a lot of fun to use them. The very recent changes to dragon stacks also makes towers fall even faster. Towers should be buffed closer to their state in early Season 5 to bring back purpose to late-game strategy and late-game champions.

Secondly: Duskblade is OP and ruins the fun for a lot of champions Before the addition of the duskblade, I found assassin's to be fairly balanced, perhaps needing a SLIGHT buff. This new item however took it overboard and completely shifted the meta to an assassin meta rather than an ADC meta which we only had for short number of patches. Duskblade is like the Deathfire Grasp of AD champions and is going to abused by a number of champions not just assassins. ADC's are now pretty much hopeless to do anything against assassins unless they are either fed or have teammates that are willing to sacrifice for them. Duskblade should not have been added into the game and if it stays should be nerfed a bit as in its current state it is overpowered.

These are just a couple things I believe that are ruining the fun aspect of League of Legends, a game I have been playing for 3-4 years and have enjoyed all the way through until recently. Of course these are just opinions and suggestions for Riot's Balancing Team to hopefully consider when moving forward. Thanks everyone who takes the time to read this.

i mean best i got to with no help last season was silver 4. so i'm no lol expert by far but 90% of the time who ever gets kill in lane first snow balls super hard now. then you have to pray if its not you a team mate is snowballing their lane. then this adds pressure to junglers. it makes them have to decide ok i can ether have a hard farm mid-late game champ. or if i do nothing early my lanes are probably gonna get dumpstered. i been more stressed in jungle lately. basically if i don't baby sit my lanes and give them lead they fail hard. made me no longer want to jungle.item 3070

Completely agree. Riot went way too much towards snowballing after seasons of trying to stop people from snowballing so hard. They're basically trying to make late-game non-existent.

I personally agree with everything written here, on the topic of the towers being easier to destroy I believe they should go back to how they use to be as well. The games don't last as long, and sure while shorter games can be good, but shorter games mean less people can get their champions into their late game/full builds. I noticed that when I was playing Poppy earlier today, about 30 minutes into the game we were knocking on their nexus turrets, the enemy team wasn't even bad. But 30 minutes in, knocking on their nexus turrets, I noticed "Oh, I only have three core items and we're about to end." I just feel like players will miss out on their champions full potential and fun with games taking 20-30 minutes to end. Poppy

The Duskblade item is really a Forum post all in itself.. On first reading about this item, to me it didn't sound like it was going to be too horribly broken, but upon seeing it in game I and the rest of my team realized first hand just how disgustingly broken over powered this item is.. Say you're some ADC down bot lane who isn't very mobile, say for this example Urgot, or Vayne ever. Sure Vayne has her tumble but she is stilll a very immobile ADC, anyway say you have a Vayne down bot farming away, maybe 3 kills and almost done with her first item, she just needs this last wave. Suddenly the Talon that has 0 kills but 10 deaths already comes down to gank at level 6 with a half way completed Duskblade, Vayne should be able to deal with that easy. And just like that "An enemy has been slain." she kills Zed. So she backs, get's her first item and goes back bot. Well unbeknownst to her that Zed now has his first item, a finished Duskblade. As soon as his Ultimate is back up the 0 and now 11 death Zed takes a romantic trip down river to bot lane to vist Vayne once more, this time the odds are a little different. Zed ults, does some damage but Vayne can just life steal, it's fine.. suddenly Zed procs Nightfall, Duskblade's passive, and pops here right there. Now there's a dead Vayne, Zed is now 1-11 with shut down gold.. item 3147 Zed Vayne

Okay sure this might be exaggerating a bit, but honestly not by much, and that's the bad thing about it. Sure you might say "Oh well Zed is just a strong Assassin, doesn't matter how behind." That's not all entirely true. Really all I'm saying here is that this item just doesn't need to be in the game, at all, period. I feel as if Assassin were fine where they were, sure some might disagree and by all means, disagree. But this is what I believe and what out players in the community believe as well. Teemo
