Clearly you have a lot of experience playing the support role. either that or you got lucky that game. either way, that's the support life.
you help your ADC get a kill? no one cares.
you tank the turret? no one cares.
you died so your teammates can live? no on cares.
you didn't buy sightstone on your first back? "F this support, they don't know how to play blah blah blah"
or you get Relic Shield and kill 1 minion and its "support is stealing my cs, stupid support is stupid blah blah blah."
you've tried to ward as much of the map as you can and now you've run out of wards? "Support ward plz. Support isn't warding guys, gg. /all Plz report support for assisting enemy team, k thanks."
You can make as many sick plays as you want, 98% of the time you'll go unnoticed. But when you don't buy a Sightstone or kill a minion then all hell breaks loose. It's the Support life. Besides, you don't need recognition to know you did great. If you're helping your team get the job done, then good on you. Know that other supports couldn't do half the stuff you do and hold your head high. Where other supports stumble and feed, you've helped your ADC get a penta and that in and of itself is grand. I know i've never been able to do that so just take if for what it is and feel good.
Edit: you got a Penta in a Ranked game. For a Quinn. A champ that rarely sees plays and is deemed "too buggy to play." You overcame her bugs and helped her. If either of those things don't make you feel good as a person, then I don't know what will.
