Unusual Amount of Chinese Players on the North American Servers

Recently I've tilted from Diamond IV to Plat 2 and I've noticed throughout the games i've played and during my climb back up. A huge increase in Chinese Players, who could possibly be Elo Boosters Have any of you guys noticed this? I think they may be 'Elo Boosters' or maybe just Foreign Exchange Students.

A few of my friends also noticed the increase in Chinese Players around the Plat 1- Diamond 5 level. This is only concerning me for the percentage of players who are actually trying to earn their position in Diamond, rather than pay a skilled player to do it for them.

I understand that, just noticed a huge increase recently. Now I personally like playing against good players regardless. Just posing a question.

I have seen them in my last 4 ranked games. Before this, I saw them maybe 1% of the time.
