Common sense problems with LOL that Riot does not have the common sense to fix...
As a frequent league player there's many things that I (as well as everyone else) sees on a regular basis that Riot fails to do anything about.

If you try playing a ranked 5v5 solo/duo, the likelihood of having a teammate afk or quit is pretty damn close to 50%. What has riot done to address this problem? Prevent the people who quit (not afk) from playing for a tiny duration of time and lose a few LP? That clearly deters people from leaving the game and ruining it for others.... Perhaps make legitimate consequences? Such as prohibiting those people from playing ranked games (at least) for a substantial period of time? Perhaps immediately giving the team an option to surrender with no loss of LP? Instead you're forced to play for 20 minutes before you can vote to surrender. If someone quits a few minutes in, why can't you vote then and there? LOL YOU CANT UNTIL YOU PLAYED 20 MINUTES OF 4v5!!! GENIUS!!!!

General OP-ness... when playing ranked there's always the same few champions who get banned. Katarina, fizz, akali, gnar, reksai, blitz, morgana, junglers with unreasonably unfair ultimates, the occasional pantheon, a few others etc.. Perhaps these champions should be ... ummmm... changed? Changed in a way that no longer render them OP? (Riot that stands for Over-Powered). There's clearly an unfair advantage given to those who chose OP champions. When was the last time an adc (other than tristana season 4) was banned? The OP champs bring me back to Call of Duty World at War MP-40 versus any other smg or gun in general... MP-40 wins every time.

ARAM! Who doesn't enjoy a casual ARAM once in a while? Over 50% of the time everyone doesn't enjoy it for the same reason...The lack of.. fairness? Yes yes we all know this game type is meant for all random champions stuck in one lane not serious who cares. However.... how can this game type even be the slightest bit fun during those frequent games that your doomed to lose from the beginning solely from the unbalanced randomly selected champions your team was given compared to the opposing team's plethora of op champions? Listen, I know your thinking "who cares it's ARAM", but I think it's safe to say that unfair-unbalanced games of any kind aren't fun or enjoyable at all (which is the one of the main purposes for playing the game to begin with?) Bringing common sense into the equation to solve this problem, the often unfair matchups can easily be avoided! How you ask? Similar to playing a Summoner's Rift, every person has a role. You have the support, adc, etc... Easily categorize champions into different roles (yes most champions fit into multiple roles) and if each team has a champion from each of the 5 standard roles, that would substantially mitigate unbalanced-uneven-unfair games of ARAM. IT'S A SIMPLE SOLUTION!

Those actually enjoyable games types that are only available for a few weeks (max.)... What is the reason behind having the best game modes of League only available for a short amount of time and to never be seen again? For example, Legend of the Poro King someone in Riot actually stood back and took a look at ARAM and said, "How can we make this game type half decent?" You can pick your champion and ban the unfair ones (i.e. Sona, soraka, anyone who can heal their team). A side objective besides one lane of towers.. The ability to teleport down lane instead of running a 5k to join up with the team. Why are these games modes not available at all times? They're clearly able to be supported for a few weeks without causing problems.
I'm justing ranting and I know many people will strongly agree or disagree, but using common sense to fix some of these problems will make League a better and more enjoyable game for everyone. Until then it will continue to be more frustrating than it is fun.
