So as I believe you would all know, there are two essences in the game for the new Hextech Crafting. I just received a champion that I have wanted for a long time, but never really wanted to pay for, Malzahar. Upon trying to unlock him, I found that it required Blue Essence and not the Orange Essence. My question is. How do I get more Blue Essence?

The same thing happened to me. I just forked over 975 RP hoping to get some blue essence to get my level 7 mastery. I got all champion skins. Is it a scam?

Dude you trade IP in for chamion tokens, which roll into random champ shards for hextech crafting

blue essence is basically exactly the same as ip and could be replaced with ip. champion shards could simply act as discount tokens, that reduce the ip/rp price of a champion by a certain %.
this all could just be directly done with ip.

Actually, this new item should have been released this patch, so I'm a little anxious/angry, because it's really important for the new level 6/7 Champ Mastery...
blackelise4 votesYou can get Blue Essence if you sell a champion for Blue Essence.You can sell a champion for a Blue Essence in your Loot and crafting inventory and click right click on the mouse and you have options what to do with the champion then you can find Disenchant into Essence and you will recive Blue esence

Bosloh3 votesOk I just found out how, When you loot a champ you need to activate it with blue essence right? The thing is you need to DISenchant champ loots for blue essences. so You'll need to sacrafice some to get the one you wanted ! not as easy as you think it was XD

Go into the store, go into Accessories, buy yourself 1 (or 2 or 3 or 4) "Hextech Mystery Champion Shard" for 1700** IP** (not RP). Go into your hextech crafting and under the materials tab click on your newly purchased shards. Click dissenchant for however much blue essence that shard is and voila, you now have blue essence.

Seems really good because you have to work for the blue essence, yes you would be able to abuse it on the same champion but you could simply set a cap for blue essence on a champion, like if you get lets say 1100 blue essence on a champ that would be the max for that champ. that is level 6 and 7.
I really dont want to play the same champion over and over because if I cant earn level 6 or 7 why keep playing my main and get better?
why play ranked with them if you cant show off how much you play?
I also today got Taliyah to level 5, got 2 s+ in a row where is my level 6, Lmfao did i mention that i play ALLL DAY EVERYYYDAY? at least 13hrs sitting at my computer trying to get a key... for over a month now....

All u have to do is buy the hextech mystery champion shard for 1700 lp and then go into ur crafting area and convert it into a champion shard. Then just disenchant the champion into essence and there you go. :D
