Okay, so I'm really dumb and I missed the fact that the rune combiner was gone, but why? I've got a ton of tier 1 and 2 runes that I never use anymore. If I could combine them into tier 3 runes, I'd actually have a use for them. Say, if you combine like.. 3-tier 2 AP runes, you get a single tier 3 AP rune. I know it's not really much but it'd be better than having a bunch of extra runes to scroll through, trying to find the ones I actually need.

AMYS GRAVE1 votesThe rune combiner wasn't such a bad thing, im not sure why they got rid of it. When i first started i would buy 25 lesser runes for 15 IP each and combine them for tier 3 runes. It was cheaper overall and i got somewhat lucky that i didn't get very many useless runes. Even the useless ones i recombined to get useful ones. Eventually i stopped to just buy them outright because i needed to fill out my rune pages in a consistent way but i saved some IP by using it.
Hizsoo1 votesThe rune combiner considered to be somewhat of a noob trap and they got rid of it when they made the Tier 1-2 runes cheaper. You have to contact player support if you reached the rune limit or have other problems with the runes you own.
