lp earned in ranked

i was wondering if anyone could explain how they calculate how much lp you get in ranked? im in plat 4 and im now getting 16-17 a win and 20-21 a loss. this makes it so much harder to climb because i have to win 3x the number of games to gain any lp. this just started recently, before i was getting about equal gain and loss. thanks for any answers.

Sounds like you actually have it much better than most people. As you lose more you can reach a point where you're crawling 2-5 lp per win and still dropping 20+ for a loss.

isnt that only for people who are like in master and challenger or high diamond
