Jhin

Hello, I am a Gold Support player and i have been playing for years and I'm here to talk about Jhin, the only champion in years that i almost permaban if I am playing. Yeah i get his kit and how he plays, but at level one with a #4 big crit he can just walk around for what feels like 5 min and wait to hit you or the adv with a crit that even at level one is doing like 300 damage, and oh wow, I'm half health. I like his ability to root and his nice q he has a bit but they also get annoying, his range on his w shouldn't be able to reach so far, if I'm getting away from a mid lane and he is doing drag, he shouldn't be able to w from drag all the way to mid to root me. His e i find can be useful and sometimes even useless, if you can use them to your advantage and even push a support or adc into them, it's a nice damage boost if you root. Deathfire touch on him also seems to make him even more stupid because he can just use it to keep you out of lane by w on CD because it's mana costs aren't that high. His ult feels like it needs to be nerfed in damage or nerfed on the last shot, the fact at level 6 with a bf sword you shouldn't be able to hit a Taric for a 700 damage last hit with your ult, at level 6, Taric usually has only 1k health.

Jhin has one huge drawback and that's his inability to really stop a gank if jungler has flash up.

Pull wave back to your turret's bush and freeze it there so they have 2/3's of the lane. Ping for your jungler or wait till he rotates towards you. Their jungler won't gank because it's a bad position for him to gank and yours will see the opportunity. If he's smart he'll sweep the "oh-shit-it's-too-late" bush and the river's edge in front of it for traps too. If he doesn't, hopefully he still has flash. Once he's engaging, just dive in and engage yourself. Between you and the jungler the jhin should melt. Don't even NEED an adc.

Leona is his worst enemy as well as blitz since you can press E to load your punch, flash in and auto him. Pop the ult, he's dead, grab the support back as he runs away, and let your adc who SHOULD see what's up go in with jungler to handle him. Leona should be obvious. Go in, stun, ult if they try to escape, flash in again to stun and/or exhaust. Melt faces.

A nami bubble isn't always easy, but if it's right when he reloads his maneuverability to dodge should be poor. Morgana can q and her aoe makes it a bitch for him since he's slow to get out. Guaranteed thunderlord's almost every time. Soraka can q all day long on him and heal up the scratch damage on the adc.

Jhin is about timing, both for his engage and yours. He has lulls you can take advantage of. Right after his speed steroid ends and he reloads you have 3 shots worth of time to really make something. Engage on his first or second and he won't be able to speed off with a 4th shot crit.

Juke his ult. I do it fairly often. "Serpentine, serpentine!" Flash and things like a MF w or nami speed boosts can annoy the hell out of a jhin. Ez makes his day hell.

He has good kill pressure and potential, but he has this immobility issue that people aren't abusing enough. A jhin lane should NEVER be a passive lane. If Jhin is being passive then ruin his world. If jhin is being aggressive then ruin his world. Don't give him an inch after you freeze the wave and if you push in towards his turret while him and the support are alive then make sure you ward because he can secure kills for his jungler pretty easily with his E root and traps.
