hello fellas,

I just got deranked from gold 1 to gold 2, by losing just a single game at 0 lp and thats kinda frustrating. I just won my promotion to gold 1 and getting back to gold 2 sucks. The problem is i ALREADY climbed to gold 1 a week ago and same shit happend as now, and i think at least in the second time it shouldnt actually drop someone by losing 1 game at 0lp. at this point u pretty much prooved that you belong in this elo or even higher. the wierd thing is this time my mmr seems to have droped substantially. i got 18 lp for a win and lost 20 lp for a loss. before the promotion i got 22lp for a win and lost around 18. my question is how can my mmr get fucked so hard in one promo which i even suceed in ? the other question is if its normal to drop of divison u recently climbed by losing 1 game at 0 lp, wasnt there a "protection" for like 3 to 4 games ?

They obviously had points in G1 beforehand, if you look at the tier graph on op.gg can see that.

Oh my goodness surly the OP was not inaccurate in their description of the tragic events leading to their demotion. Its not like making probably false claims hurts your credibility.

That's not a false claim. They were saying when they reached 0LP they were demoted right afterwards, it's pretty clear.

Op is complaining about Demotion protection. They have 3 back to back losses. This is not indicating they just won a promo then lost a single game. It would also be impossible to have LP if he just promoted prior. I see a history of LLLWWLLWLWLWWWLWWW

Ill say it once more, what I see is 3 losses, with no indicator the OP was demoted instantly 1 loss after promoting because it would be impossible for them to have points in G1 if this is true.

How is the OP's claim not false?
Context of this post is today so i'm using the losses from today as the assumption for his trigger. Doesn't seem very realistic to expect one of the games from a different day to be the reason he would come complain, and I admit that that may be unfair or inaccurate on my end.

@op. I get the frustration. You have bleed MMR on your account as you have 31 games played last week and 12W v 19 L = account MMR loss. However it does not seem like you had demotion protection in place.
