Honor system if weird.

I get honored 1-3 times per game by randoms and i am the only one of my friends who haven't been cooldowned since we started playing this game again and somehow i am lvl 1 honor lvl and they are 3+ for PBE. They say themselves they almost never get honored and we always play well but somehow i am lvl 1. I know you start at lvl 2 so i don't understand how after constant honors, no bans/cooldowns that I am level 1.

Any tips?

If I remember correctly way back when they implemented this new honor system... They said something to the effect of "the weight of honor received is also affected by how often the person gives honor." So, theoretically, someone who honors you, but also honors someone after every single game will not have as heavy an impact on your honor level as someone who rarely honors players. I could be wrong though.
