uninstalled LoL after ten game losing streak

You have to compare LoL to a drug. When you are winning, you get 14 kills a game, your making plays, you feel so good. Nothing can stop you from achieving-- that's me before yesterday. Went from Gold 3 to Gold 1 in about 3 days time. Then yesterday happened; I tried every role. I played champs I dominate with, I played champs that counter champs, and I played a few games with some bad picks probably. In the end though, I dropped from Gold 1 to Gold 3 in ten hours day. I literally could not carry hard enough to win all day. Thats when the "comedown" happens. You doubt your ability, your decisions, and your achievements. You become like the guy who loses his whole paycheck at the slot machine; one more game will make up for this, one more, one more. What was supposed to be a 3 game relaxation became a ten hour marathon of losing. Depression sets in and then you start to blame. Then you become even less able to carry as a leader or play maker/caller. I really feel like a addict when I'm losing, cause I want to stop playing but I am compelled to continue trying to get back the league points I lost so I can get back to where I was before the losing streak started.

Anyone else have days like that?

TLDR: i uninstalled/sad mad cuz bad?

If you get on a losing streak, play some ARAMs or normals, not ranked.

I've been there, for sure.... I was in my Gold promos a couple of weeks ago, winning around 75% of my games on the climb there from Silver V to Silver I. Immediately lost the first three promo games. Tried to get back into promos and just continued losing.... and losing..... and losing. It was the worst streak of luck I've had in this game, to date.

The frustrating thing about it, though, was that many of the games were being lost because of multiple teammates DCing, getting lag spikes, or people going afk or trolling. I was averaging a 4.0 KDA, winning lane, focusing objectives and still losing 80% of my games. I dropped all the way from my gold promos to Silver IV, pretty much in one continuous losing streak.

I was definitely ready to uninstall and honestly, I still might at some point. I think there are a lot of things wrong with the ranked system and I feel like there are too many ways to lose and not enough ways for one person to secure a win. Promos are an arbitrary roadblock that rely on lucky streaks of wins and there is insufficient loss prevention for games containing disconnects, afks, etc..

I'm currently climbing my way back up, giving it one last shot for gold before the season ends. I've won 13 of my last 16 games and have been carrying many of them. Of the three I lost, two of them had somebody DC at the start of the game, putting us behind in the laning phase, which ultimately snowballed the other team.

If they don't make some quality of life changes for Season 5, though, I will seriously be looking for another game to play. It's too much of a waste of time to win five games in a row, and then lose your promos because somebody afk'd at the start of the game...

tips i will say that helped me get to gold 1; find a champ that you can snowball with hard. don't rely on your team to win their lanes, don't play bottom unless you are a god leona or ali support who can secure CS for your ADC who probably sucks ass hard while at the same time zoning out the enemy. don't play ADC because you are super reliant on your team to peel, protect, sustain, and give vision for you. pick hyper AP carries top or mid, pick fiddle for jungle, don't pick tank for top unless you can effectively neutralize the enemy top from getting cs or kills.
