Why do such a thing as remove solo que?

I realize people want good communication and that everyone hates those solo que trollers in ranked ques, and the 5 man pre-made teams are far more coordinated. However i have always been that kind of gamer that likes solo que'ing its fun to see how different people play the same champs, and if supporting feeling out how your adc like to play without having ever met them. The mute button was always helpful for ignoring the raging spammers as well. So i ask why would you remove such a fun aspect of the ranked 5v5 from the game after 6 years, started playing spring of 2010.
