because your elo is low. you don't really belong in plat and matchmaking knows it

yeah because i was plat last season, went 7/3 in placements got gold 1 then got plat V a few hours after i def dont belong in plat

You have to remember it's early ranked. Meaning the first week/month of the season, everyone is fluctuating in mmr so once you're balanced out you should be fine. If you play at a plat level of course.

That's not how it works. Elo has nothing to do with matchmaking. There's a separate MMR that actually matters, your elo ranking is a fake secondary system put on top of the MMR to slow down progression.

When you play your placements, your MMR drops a lot more the higher elo you are. The highest Challengers can place is Plat 1. Plat 5's will end up low gold or high silver sometimes.

Beat the heck out of your lane and get strong enough to coordinate with your team. If you can't even 2v5 a couple of "silvers" you can't expect to keep plat.

Meanwhile, accept the challenge, keep calm and have fun.

They're Silvers that were demoted in their placements. They have the same MMR as you.

You blame everything on your team , have you tried once to talk to your team and tell them what to do as a higher rated player ? all you do is call people names and shit while the truth is you're low elo yourself prolly boosted by a friend or e-bay .

If you were playing with (and against) people of a lower skill level your team should have an advantage with you carrying them.

Also, you are queing with your match making rating. Maybe you should be complementing their success and improvement in ranked if you are in denial about yourself.
