When is Varus getting a new passive?

Riot seems to be pushing him into a Tear-based poke build, but right now his passive is useless there and is basically a poor mans Jinx passive in the bot lane. It doesn't fit at all with any of his builds, and its not well done at all. Varus could benefit greatly from a new passive.
