I'm about to get to level thirty and I recently got Katarina. I enjoy playing with her and want to get better with her, but is she good in ranked games? I know some champs are better than others for people to play in ranked, and I was wondering if I should stick with her or perhaps find a champion more suited towards ranked gameplay.

CoolMike1271 votesIf you are just getting to lvl 30, don't try ranked until you are capable of playing at least 2 roles (1 main and 1 sub role) with at least 3 champions you are good at playing in each of those roles, so you can perform well in ranked.
Most likely you will be placed in Bronze, since your new, so as long as your playing champions that you are good at playing and know strengths and weaknesses well, you will be fine.

Zane Zephyr1 votesI would say absolutely not since she is easily countered. She's generally not a good pick unless you're last or next to last, pretty much only if you get to counterpick.
Bud Light1 votesshe is good if you know how to player he how she should be... an assassin not a front line Most people that are just hitting 30 or in low elo will try to engage a 1v5 on kat and expect to get all your damage/resets off. Here's a tip: learn all the champs (what they do etc) when you know what all champs do wait for their cc that can stop you is used on your frontline (top/jungle/support) then go in if you can on their backline. It sounds easy but there is a difference between kat players and good as fuck kat players that can play against anything. I play in diamond and she is very rare but when you do see her they are amazing smart with how they position and wait for the right opportunity
