anyone else think essence reaver passive is negligible. im thinking even if they doubled the 2%-8% increase in mana per auto it still wont make much of a difference in the late game. I think they need to do something to make the passive stronger cause no one ever uses essence reaver , its too weak.

It's too niche of a item to be useful.
Botrk/IE/BT/PD all could be picked up for various reasons. ER only work on a few champions.
I'd love it if some unique passive could be put into it's kit.

BluePolarizer1 votesHit enemy champs for 3% enemy max mana damage as physical damage on hit. Cement it as a mana sustain, anti mage/anti tank item while being bad against ADCs. Also would be great on on-hit bruisers that need alot of mana, like Udyr, while being gated by its upfront cost with the BF sword..

FuIlmute All1 votesI think what keeps people from buying this item is the lifesteal. Pouring all that gold into 10% just doesn't feel as good as a bt or bork (given bork has the same lifesteal, but an active healing and also the extra % health bork dmg heals u as well) It just doesnt feel right for the game. Maybe giving it 15 to 20% cdr as well could be a nice enough change as well for it to be worth getting as opposed to more mana, if it just has an infinite pool of mana, that won't be healthy either.

IMO the main problem is the only reason you have to buy this item is the mana passive. No other (core) item makes you wait to acquire its full potential. Just my two cents, unless your Canadian
