Why am I bad at League of Legends to the point that my friends don't even want to play with me?

I've been playing LoL for almost 3 years now, but I am stuck in silver. No matter how hard I try, I'm always playing horribly every game. I'm always carried every game and I feel useless. What can I do to improve? I know the basics of League but I am horrible at the game. Recently, I've been playing so bad that now my friends don't even invite me anymore and whenever I try talk to them, they always ignore me. ** What can I do to improve? ** Thank you.

You might want to focus on a select few champs, most people play 3-5 champs at most from what I've seen

A quick browse shows that you tend to die, a lot. The secret to winning is never dying. (Singed doesn't count because he's obnoxious.)

Also, Iron Locket is terrible on enchanters like Janna and Lulu. They simply lack the bonus HP needed to make it powerful.

Here's what I would suggest as practice in some normal games. Grab an Enchanter (Lux, Lulu, Soraka, Janna, Karma, etc) and buy a Dark Seal on your first/second back. Do your best so that you end every match with 10 stacks. Once you can do that try and get 25 stacks on Soul Stealer.

This will help reinforce your positioning and self peel abilities.

Oh, one more thing. Coin is better than spellthief before you hit 6 items due to the better gold gain and cheaper build costs. Try using that item instead.

  1. Stop playing the most difficult champs possible per role.

  2. If you're always getting carried, play utility. Support champs, tanks, and mages that aren't Ryze.

  3. Learn to measure risk/reward. You die too much.

  4. Try focusing your efforts on finding a few main champs to play.
