As an adc, once an enemy tank gets 2 armor items, you might be lucky to tickle them.
it's annoying being full build as an ADC, and critting a tank with 3K+ health, for 300ish damage. playing as jinx, hitting a poppy. had a lord dominik's, had the armor pen mastery in the middle tree, even started running armorpen reds on my adcs.
I'm just getting really sick of doing less damage to tanks than i could, despite this being the 'season of adcs'.
Their is a reason why vayne is popular, she can kill them with ease.

There's your problem. Offense tree has better late game armor pen, utility tree has better early game armor pen. Personally I don't think Jinx synergizes well enough with Tlord's to bother bringing it, I'd rather have the extra as from bloodlust.
Then again, I'm experienced enough with Jinx that I can win lane without it.
I did a test once. I did 460 damage to a volibear with no armor. He bought deadman's, I bought Dominik's, and I still did about 460 damage to him.
