How can a champion who builds full tank be allowed to deal these crazy amouts of damage?!

What happens when a Nunu gets a nearly fully channeled ult with some AP onto a squishy champion (that Fiora doesn't have any real tank stats that early). If he builds full tank, his ult won't even 100-25 an ADC if fully channeled, if he builds some AP for damage, he won't be super tanky.
