Tower snowballing

So I wanted to share some thoughts on early game snowball in league in relation to towers. Riot is exploring lowering the gold given for taking outer turrets on PBE to help lower early snowball. For me it's the fact the towers get deleted so quickly that is the issue.

Specifically, I think I find losing a tower due to a single death incredibly frustrating. Imagine a scenario where top lane get pushed in by a biggish creep wave and tower dived by jungler and top laner. Then off that death just the top laner and jungler pushing lets them take that tower in a single go.

Contrast that scenario with one where a top laner gets traded or killed enough times that the opposing top laner gets a wave to tower 4 times then takes turret.

Given that a loss of a tower is a huge loss of map pressure and safety. I personally would much rather see the second scenario. Consider that the opposing top laner is likely way ahead in both scenarios. Being able to still play around having a turret there for a bit longer into the game would help defensive plays in that sector.

Now I don't think we should go to super tanky turrets as a solution. We already have a very game-y damage reduction to keep turrets from breaking too quick. What I'd like to see is turrets not breaking in a single push. At least not outer turrets. Given that Riot has made inhibitor turrets have a special system of third health points to allow sieging them to be more dynamic. Can we get a concept based on this to prevent outer turrets being broken in one go? Something along the lines of outer turrets gaining a defensive buff when going past a health threshold?

I realize it sounds somewhat artificial. However, there is precedence. Personally I wonder if it would feel good to have to hit outer turrets with a couple drives to take one.

what about secondary turrets being stronger??
