i was an Ariz main then the nerfs came do you guys think he should be buffed and brought back as the champ with the highest skill ceiling and and worst to learn

I played a ton of Azir he was strong for a long time so I think it is fine that he is weak (for awhile) so we can enjoy a new types of meta games. Eventually I'd like to see him come back but right now I am having fun with Orianna and Jayce mid.

This is why I don't think players should main so few champions you should main the entire role that you like to play. The meta constantly changes and it is hard to adapt when you don't play a lot of champions.

Azir is still strong, just because something is nerfed doesn't make it viable anymore. He has the DPS of Cassiopeia, just with longer range. The only weak point he has is his early game, but he can hold his own tower because of his good waveclear and avoid ganks.

It's like 40 mana for one sand soldier, place one in the back of the enemy caster minions to hit them all at once, or just put one in the middle between the casters and melees.

azir is trash now i woildnmt recomend ever playing him

If you don't want your wave pushed then you don't waveclear like that until level 3 where you have your escape, or don't place any soldiers for waveclear at all throughout the laning phase. What's even bad about him? Yea he has a high skillcap, but with self peel, mobility, and insane DPS/range his skillcap is really his only weakness. All he requires is just positioning. What part of his kit is weak really..?

i can punish azirs very easily because he relies on his soldiers for everything

maybe im not good at farming with him but i notice they do very very very little dmg early with decent high cooldowns hes just a sitting duck and his dps and all that u talk about theres champs that do it alot better

azir is not what he used to be i wish they never changed the cdr attack speed thing but hes just been dumpstered by riot

Yea they do little damage early since it's not like they can hit you alot because of low attack speed. I agree, he can be punished hard and that's why positioning is one of the most important things. You can't just spend your Q's cooldown to last hit minions in lane, just like you don't use Veigar's E to stun the wave so you can hit your W better. His cooldowns are really high early game so he's pretty much useless then, well until level 6 where you can gank and push people away from their towers and get your lanes fed, but once you get a Nashor's tooth things start changing.

DPS is kind of all I talk about? Because well..he's a DPS champ. That's what he's meant to do, that's what he's good at. And no, there's no champion that does it better. Cassiopeia has the highest DPS in the game, even though it's high she's fairly short range compared to Azir, and doesn't have nearly as much mobility and self peel so it's more dangerous for her to try and damage the backline in a teamfight or something. He hasn't been dumpstered really, due to his mobility and ultimate it's not hard to survive until mid/late game. Then, your Q is on around a 2-3 second cooldown and he becomes an unstoppable hypercarry that takes down turrets really fast.

idk i can just pick brand or syndra and dont need to worry avouty dps cuz what takes u 5 seconds to do takes me one or 2 spells

theres just no reason to pick him man lol his ult got nerfed too didnt it

his passive is meh pretty useless in most sitations people just take down the turrert no problem

his ult is also meh nice disengage but is that really all u want from a mid laner lol

his dps is good no doubt but once he gets collapsed on its pretty much bye bye

the meta is very mobile and a champ like azir just doesnt fit

Brand isn't a very good champion for a 1v1 and waveclear, and while Syndra has waveclear and a bunch of burst damage she struggles to take down tanks. She's also very immobile and relies on her stun, and if she misses it her kit isn't that forgiving. She's a hard counter to Azir though, since she's one of the few champions that can put up with his range but then again they are two different champions that do two different jobs in a team.

It's more of a utility ult, like Ryze. Say you're chasing someone down but they're too tanky for you to kill and your team is behind you. W+EQ up to them and ult them toward your team. It's also good to save yourself or an ally from a diving assassin.

It's something your team can fall back to while taking an inner turret, or to save yourself to stop someone from chasing you down or to help you 100-0 a target. Also good for defending lanes that already lost a tower.
