-269 LoLKing score in two days. Looking for some guidance.

Elo Hell? Bad Luck? No clue. . . Just as the title says, I have lost 269 LoLking score in just two days. I was silver at the end of last season. Placement, winning 6/4 put me into bronze V, now I can't get into a game that doesn't have a feeder or people who are constantly AFK. It makes me feel extremely frustrated that I was put at bronze V first of all, secondly I can't get a decent team. Even though at the end of the games I have been graded as S, S-, A, ect. but can't get a winning team.

Anyone with a similar experience?

  • Did you over come it?
  • If so, how did you over come it?
  • Any advice?

Lol, you're fine. The reason for the giant loss in lolking points is the new season. After ranked placement you get placed at a relatively lower ranking. It happens to everybody. Trust me, if you made it silver last season, you'll make it there again. It may take some time though. I recently made a post about climbing in ranks and here is a shameless plug: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/GD/72KEhoMV-10-steps-to-climb-in-ranked I went from Gold 3 to Silver 5, and I have heard of and personally seen a lot of Plats in low silver. You have a few matches in your match history as of now so it is hard to gauge what champions you should keep playing and which you should refrain from choosing. Definitely play less champs though. You did well with Lux last season so I would play her as much as you can. It may be boring but you will most likely climb. Keep your head up and keep trying.

Yeah makes me want to smash my face into a wall when I play bard and get second highest gold second highest damage and S rating, still lost lol.

If you do well and are proud in a game, that is fine. That's all you need. As a supp though you should try your best to keep others alive. Trust me I know what I'm talking about when it comes to the support role. http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/41337515 You can roam with Bard, and roaming takes some know-how and skill. I personally, though, prefer other supports and he is most definitely a hard champ to master, and his ult is, in my opinion, meh. But, if you truly feel comfortable with him, keep playing him and you'll only get better.

As Janna it's true that what you do is keep others alive, but that's not true for all supports. You're really Janna-centric lol.

I'd just worry about every exchange you ever lose. Think about why you lost it, how you could've won it, or how you could've avoided it entirely. If you can improve how each little exchange and fight goes you can get good at the game. Don't really worry about it you win or lose and the outcome of the game may not have very much correlation to how you actually did.

Also your rating isn't all that important. You can get a good rating but if you never took objectives or helped teammates you will probably lose anyways.

This is true. When I lose exchanges I can become quick to blame others, but the best thing to do is ask "How could I have done better in that exchange?".

I rarely blame others, because all in all, I am part of the team. If you are playing any sport and your team fails, it doesn't matter how well you played, your team lost.
