Hi , death dance heal from abilities but bloodthirster dont. so why build it over bloodthirster ? on yi , yasuo or others. only champ is tryndamere that actually dont have any damage ability to benefit death dance heal .
The 20% life steal and the shield you hold onto for 20 seconds without attacking anything is pretty nice, besides if you have another item with life steal in it, you'll just end up getting more healing. It really varies, would you like some heavy healing with each powerful attack you land or a weaker healing but some burst damage converted into a damage over time effect to delay burst? I would personally take Deaths Dance if the match makes me duel an enemy 1v1 ocassionally and blood thirster other wise.
I wonder that sometimes too. Like Riven used to always build BT now it's once in a blue moon sense you have reduced damage taken as a bleed effect. Adc's Like Jinx used to build it too, but same story. There's so much burst damage that it's value'd healing and shield aren't enough to make it a valued Item
Because adcs like the shield to give them extra time to not get 1 shot. Death's dance is just dumb as fuck and should be removed.
Ever since Death's Dance was buffed I have not purchased Bloodthirster even once. Death's Dance is waaaay too good and honestly there really is no reason to get Bloodthirster instead.
