Kindred Rework idea
Kindred (Rework)
For this to work Kindred would not need an entire visual overhaul but Wolf would need a tangible body that wasn't just mist.
Kindred would also need lore update and maybe interactions with Shadow Isle champions, those related to it, Darkin and Targonian aspects.
My idea is centered on the Concept of Lamb and Wolf having a transformation like
. It's not meant to be like Kayn just the passive stack would be similar. This Kindred would be a periodic shape-shifter like Nidalee
that evolves into whichever champion you think would fit best for your match. This would be similar to Kayn but leaning more to shape-shifter than anything up until end of lanning phase.
This transformation would switch The Kindred between a melee jungler / assassin and an ADC jungler / assassin periodically, the transformation would be triggered by the passive and there could be up to 3 marks up at a time. 2 jungle 1 Camp.
These are just my ideas, I really want wolf to play an active role in the game itself instead of being a no brain auxiliary support half champion that only adds some functionality to Lamb's Kit.
With how Kindred is now, The Kindred doesn't fit. Kindred should just be called Lamb cause that is all about who you actually play as. You aren't a wolf in any of the sense. You are leaping around the map poking at champs from a distance praying to get a kill and the rest of the time you are being hunted. The enemy knows where your marks are at all time. The only mark outside of enemy expectation is your E and it doesn't count towards anything. The Kindred is basically lamb with wolf features.
[P]
The Kindred marks targets on the field. Marks generated will last until targets are killed and are visible to enemy units. Marked targets that die after being hit by The Kindred apply one stack towards the permanent transformation into Lamb or Wolf.
Kindred switches between Lamb and Wolf depending on the last mark gotten. Each mark will spawn once randomly on respective jungle camps every (---) with the Champion mark being select-able by player. Marked Champions give a stack similar to the one last hunted. The Kindred needs (---) stacks to complete permanent transformation. (Adjustable to how many stacks that data shows would normally be finished heading out of lanning phase).
If one side has completed their stack before the other, The Kindred can select to postpone the completion of the passive and making that form unplayable for the rest of the game, with a penalty of 4 mins. There after The Kindred will transform into the side with lesser stacks and all stacks will be applied to the new form (Lamb or Wolf).
-[Lamb's Arrow] Lamb marks allied large jungle camps and long ranged enemies with a white glowing sigil. Marked targets death's count towards The Kindred permanent transformation into Lamb. Each stack after (---) stacks will count towards increased attack damage and range of Lamb
-[Wolf's Hunger] Wolf Marks enemy Jungle camps and melee champions with a black glowing sigil. Marked targets death's count towards The Kindred's permanent transformation into Wolf. Each stack after (---) stacks will count towards increased attack damage and movement speed.
Hidden Quest:
Kindred gets increased marks off of Undead / Shadow Isles champions (and Venomaw if Riot decides to add it to the Rift like planned)
*(Lore: The Kindred apparently hates the Shadow Isles and think it shouldn't exist)
[Q]
[Lamb's soul shot] Lamb performs an (omni-directional) leap sending a piercing arrow forth shaking the soul of one nearby champion stunning them for (---) secs when hitting a marked target. If no champion is nearby arrow shoots in a straight line doing increased damage to minions it passes through. This abilities cool down is halved when hitting a marked target.
[Wolf's Pounce] Wolf Pounces (omni-directional) Buffing his melee attack for (---) secs. When Wolf successfully attacks a marked champion or elite camp Wolf bleeds them for (---) secs. Wolf's pounce resets to half when killing an enemy.
(Global) Passive: Minions killed leave a pool of blood (up to (---) on up at a time per lane or camp).
[W]
[Lamb Killing field] Lamb creates a zone sending Wolf to snap at the heels of the enemy, marked enemies that are stunned inside this zone will cause Wolf to take an empowered bite (scales with Crit) out of the champion. Causing them to bleed and slow for (---) secs.
[Wolf Blood Thirster] Wolf sends Lamb forward scouting out prey (kinda like Kalista ability). Lamb is visable to enemy champions and returns to wolf after (---) secs or reactivation.
Passive: Wolf becomes cloaked in mist when unseen for (---) secs healing for (---) of absorbed nearby blood pools (by walking near them) healing for (---) over (---) secs (stacks)
[E]
Mark of the Hunted: A target can be marked up to two times, one by passive and one by E. Damaging marked targets apply secondary affects
Lamb: Lamb fires a luminous shot marking the target with a sigil slowing target by (---) per Mark for (---) secs
Wolf: Wolf gains increased movement speed towards marked targets applying a secondary mark to the first Champion or Large Monster attacked.
[R]
[The Kindred] The Kindred create a Zone of Undeath marking all units inside. Champions and Epic monsters inside this zone are unable to die. Pre-Completion of passive The Kindred passive heals all units within zone for (---) .
Lamb Passive complete: [Mercy] Lamb marks all Units inside a Zone of Undeath constantly healing those within. Lambs auto attacks now mark champions that are hit. 0.5 secs before zone expires Kindred fires an arrow into the air for each marked enemy, critical striking and dealing true damage. Damage dealt heals marked allies for (---).
Wolf Passive complete: [Frenzy] Wolf Creates a Zone of Undeath constantly damaging enemies and allies for (---) % health damage. Champions (enemies and allies) and monsters bleed for (---) damage over time creating pools of blood. Wolf regenerates health at (---) times the normal rate while inside Zone of Undeath. For (---) secs Wolf's Q is empowered and acts as an execute resetting after successful kill of enemy champion.
