First of all, the damage in her overall kit is significantly reduced Before: she can proc her q to deal extra damage so with a little combination she can use non stop skill with empowered q Now: her passive have cd which is 5s, so she can't deal any decent damage over time ( which needed the most since she's now a kiting assassin) And then her w Before: w have a slow speed, decent damage and most of all, can go back instantly Now: w is a bit faster, more damage but can't go back instantly (super deadly here) The kill window is super long 1.5s for passive to proc, and i can say for sure every champ that build heavy damage can kill you in 1.5s be it ad or ap. Take adc for example, , , , etc, they can shot you down in less then 1.5s with their insane damage from crit and attack speed. Take damage overtime like , all azir main know he can kill ppl in less then 1s with 1 q + 1 auto from 2 soldiers and ult. The same could be said about , etc .What's worse about it is that you can't go back instantly from w anymore so you might still get 1 shot or atleast near dead if played badly. Then her build now, with 1.5s to actually deal any damage and her new delayed w, she need to be at least half tank to survive, so is nearly a must in every game but all those item dont have early damage and what does an assassin have without its bullying with early damage. Then to her play style now. When playing with champ that can return damage , etc she have no more damage since passive is on cd and will likely take more then she deal, this will be super important late game when everyone of these can kill you if you step up a little too far so pay intention to when you used your w since now it's delayed. Her play style now is e first since the range got increased a bit and you can stay out of some champ range, you can use w to go side way to dodge some skills shot or to hit ur e (don't ever go straight in unless you know you can get out or kill him) if ur e miss, don't even try to go in again and wait for cd, if it hit, use ur w to dodge skills or to go straight in for damage, depends on the situation. She is now a kitting assassin so don't try to 1 shot them like before, stay back and used ur clone when team fight opens (place it away from teamfight and from where they don't have vision and remember to have it used w) or you can go in with the clone, it's depends. To make up for the delayed time of w you can used and it should be enough time to w back, but then you will have no damage early on. If you play with champ that you know can kill you under 1.5s try not to fight 1v1 with them cause ur full combo might not be enough to kill them (trust me I tried a lot and lose almost everytime). It's a different story if that champ have a lot of skill shot (remember if you get hit by its cc you will died unless you have ). If you meet them try to dodge their cc and get close to them. The worst you can meet is another assassin (ad is worse then ap). They can return insane amount of damage and if that's an ad assassin he can auto you for extra. All of them can kill you late game in less then 1.5s except cause you can use . Try not to go alone warding or picking (except when teammates are right beside) cause you're very weak and can't kill very fast, if you meet someone with slow, cc or build it not gonna end well going alone. As a main leblanc i found this change extremely annoying, I can't count how many time i can outplayed someone if not for the stupid cd of passive, 1.5s to proc and delay of w. That's about it, the new Leblanc.
