Ranked Aram

Hey, fellow summoners!

I was hanging out with my friend, and he and I love the howling abyss game mode (ARAM) and we were thinking how, if Riot released a ranked mode on that map.

It would be a sort of luck based game mode, but then at the same time, it would be a sort of training for champions you don't usually play. Plus, I don't know about all the players out there in the world, but ARAM really helps practice my team fighting game sense and it's just a super interesting game mode.

Anyway, I'm just putting this out there, hope there are some of you that agree.

Nobody is doing that, especially not in ranked.

I'm personally in favor of Ranked ARAM, but "luck-based," "training," and "practice" are really weird things to be associating with the concept. There's definitely a degree of luck in ARAM, but claiming the mode is based on luck is a reach. Likewise, you could be using ARAM to train and practice, but you could also be doing that on any other game mode.

Testing players' skills with a variety of champs and teams would be a major strength of Ranked ARAM. It's a refreshing change from existing ranked options, where players are constantly encouraged to specialize in a particular position or champion. On the other hand, Ranked ARAM requires a shift in player philosophy to accept the idea that "not every game is winnable" (i.e. luck is a factor).

i would love points , ladders , and divisions for aram . there need to be proper segments . if mmr is even applied to aram it is the worst matching system on earth .
