Support Role Title

Hello,

It's a general knowledge which everyone should be aware of that there is different roles in League of Legends, such as: Tank, Fighter, Mage, Marksman, Assassin, and Support.

I'm Silver V Support main player, I always liked playing this support because I like the huge ability to carry a team using my CC only without having to go hardcore-dive-turrets to secure kills for my team as other roles would do in order to win the game. What I'd to suggest here is to find something else to call this role instead of "Supports".

The reason for this is quite simple: all of the other roles have an ok-ish role name/title. If you're in a discussion with other league players, It's OK if you say "I play tank", "I play Assassins", "I play as a Marksman", etc; however, sometimes It doesn't feel right when you say "I play support", at least not from my perspective.

The role Itself isn't a 100% supporting your team. In other MOBA/MMORPG games they have "healers" which is still better than "support". Because it actually means something: I'm going to heal you! However, the word "support" doesn't specify anything except for you're that one squishy early-game champion that will be focused so your ADC can farm and grow into a late-game beast. Technically, you're a giant minion. I'm not complaining, I'll gladly be a giant minion if this means my Marksman will carry me lately. However, I'd still prefer to not be called a "support".

Any other name that indicates or refers to the ability to make plays, use crowd control, peal for your carries, and be a secondary tank late game would be actually amazing. I haven't got anything "big" to replace the word "support". English is my second language and I don't have that many vocabularies that I'm aware of to actually replace this word. However, I did a little bit of research, and looked up words that have the same core meaning as Support, only It's a different vocabulary, here are the words I found would be interesting to replace it with: Guardian, Aegis, Anchor, Pillar, and Rampart. I'm sure you English-Guru freaks our there have better recommendations, but these are mine.

I hope this turns into a serious discussion, It's my first discussion in here, It's also something really important as a Support Main.
