Leveling from 1-30

So I made a new account because I heard that Riot made it easier to level up, huh? Can you tell me why I need a little more than 2000 XP(used to be 823xp) to level up from 19 to level 20? In that pace, I would need around 30k XP to level from 20 to 30. And to get a better impression of how insane that is, before preseason you only needed 21389 XP to level from 1 to 30.

I just don't understand this... unless the XP curve "resets" when I reach a milestone (lvl 25) and I need like 800xp to level up from there on. this whole leveling system doesn't make sense. If i need like 35-40K XP instead of 21,3K how is that an improvement?? Even with the Win of the day it would only be an improvement after roughly 28 Days...

Again a great job with helping new players riot.

ye, that's like the only way to even get a decent amount of XP... However, In my opinion, this new leveling system is just ridiculous. It might be somewhat faster for the ppl that only play 1-2 games a day and they want their account to be LVL 30 after 1-2 months.

But for ppl who want to reach lvl 30 fast this system is garbage

Just gonna throw it out there that you get a bit over 500XP as a bonus for your first win of the day, which it doesn't seem was accounted for in the original post here.

EXP got re-done in the system, so while the numbers themselves are higher, so is the EXP gained from match to match.

Hmm this is the new xp system, idk what it used to be but i'm sure it was atleast 150xp for a 30min game.

the XP system in League of Legends rewards Summoners based on the time spent played in a game. On average, a 30 minute win will earn approximately 204 XP, and a 30 minute loss will earn approximately 167 XP
