Shaco in competitive

If the cool down for “Deceive” reset on kill or assist, would that be enough of a change to bring Shaco into the competitive scene?

If not then what?

That would probably be a bit over the top.

It'd make him better. I don't think it would make him a staple pick though. Competitive junglers have to be useful even if they don't snowball. So even if they have 1-2 items they have to be able to do something. Giving deceive a reset wouldn't do that. I don't know what you could do to fix that.

Then perhaps something can be done with the boxes or the shiv. His boxes and his Deceive are what make him iconic so it would be a difficult choice for Riot to make any changes.

The downside of being an assassin with steath, is that you have no escape, take Rengar, Shaco or even Talon.

If you take that downside out, you create a monster.

As a Shaco player, that would make him WAY too overpowered.

I think a good step to bring him to competitive scene is making his base stats more tanky and reducing his mana costs.
