Something needs to be changed about the ranking system to start the season.
It makes zero sense for me to win over half my games and get placed 4 divisions lower, whereas a friend that was the same mmr got placed 2 divisions below me winning 4 less games. That makes zero sense. Can I get some feedback? It's not like i played bronze elo games, in fact the elo felt normal. I don't see how i can go down divisions while going 6-4. Anyone else have this?
UnderatedNoob1 votesIt is intended that you have to "earn" your rank back... so don't expect to start at the same elo unless you sweep 10/10.
That being said , your friend lost 4 more games than you did and started 2 divisions below you... that sounds like it's working just fine.
No problem here. Earn your rank again... if you are not a bronze player you should be out of bronze in a week.
Riona 1111 votesI just finished my 10. Went 6-4 and got stuck in Bronze 5. This is NOT a reset to last season. This account was an old account that was B4 but my other one is silver. That one last year I started part way through and went 5-5 and it put me silver 3. I win 6 game this time and get stuck bottom of the barrel. This isn't right. Riot is keeping the ranks from last season and just tweaking them when they claim it's a reset. This is total BS. What was the point of even playing the 10 games. I'm in B5. If I lost them all I'd be in...B5.. This is so wrong.

I actually went from say 840 to 800 elo. dont see how i dropped elo when i won 80%... hell my 2 losses were 50 and 55 minutes... i went 12-0-17 one game... had a 5.51 kda. was getting matched with silvers and golds... was still the reason my teams would win. highest cs in like every game that i wasnt support....
