I think that for new players, it's really hard to get all champions and multiple rune sets, 2 rune sets are not enought and it's close to impossible to get decent runes and buy new champs at the same time, please tell me you plan to do this soon! <3

here. I've been collecting runes for 1000s of years. Still don't have them all. Every rune collected is a life saved. When riot makes runes free in 2017 and compensates players for what they already have into runes/rune pages, many lives will be saved.

But tier 3 runes were necessary.
My friend and I started around the same time. He's spent 90% of his ip on champions, and I've spent 50-60% on runes. No compensation for that is ridiculous. Why can't they compensate me? What makes it so bad to return to me the ip that I've invested? It's the time I've sunk into their game and they're just going to say "sorry for the 100s of hours spent saving up for the runes, no refund teehee"?

...And get something else to spend my then 320354 IP on (or 275204 after unlocking the last 11 champions, including Camille).
Such as: -Hextech keys for 1500 IP each. -Skins for IP equivalent of 20x the RP cost. -Champion/skin summoner icons for 1500 IP each. -Additional 20 runepages (yes, I want more than just 20).

837942 IP earned total in 1306 days.
410400 IP spent on champions. 153799 IP spent on runes, including runepages. 38956 IP spent on icons.
210837 IP currently owned. I know all this because I keep track of my every LoL purchase in an Excel document.
And despite all this, I do have a life. I think... Whatever a regular job is called these days. ^^

I used to do this too! :D Started with 20k (any less, and you wouldn't really get anywhere), then 30k, then 50k, then 100k, then 150k...then I realized I had ran out of things to actually empty my IP wallet on.

So after all this, how much IP do you currently have? Sounds like 100k at least. :) Btw, IP Chroma sale coming up. Should help get it going. ;)

I have about 6300 IP saved at the moment. XD

Ehm, well, still, if you got every champion now, and got 6300 IP, you can still get Camille for 5100 IP on release.
Buy 3x Hextech random champion tokens (1700 IP each) and reroll them = champion permanent of random unowned champion (and when you only got 1 unowned left...). ;)

The logic is that, if someone doesn't pay for the game, they have to provide benefits to other players (who in turn pay for the game).
Keep in mind that Riot has to pay for the bandwidth when you connect to their servers (albeit small but millions of players add up). You need to give them something back in exchange, or they might as well not have you.
