Some alternatives to the dramatic sightstone changes

So, as most of you will have heard by now, the support role is most likely going to go through some drastic changes at the beginning of Season 8. Riot is planning to remove sightstone and put a sightstone active as the quest rewards for support items. This obviously means that actives such as the Frost Queens ghosts and talisman haste will be removed to be replaced by this new ward. As a support main, I was shocked to read this. I get where Riot wants to go by removing item 2049 and item 2045 from the game, since they were pretty one-dimentional items, but I do not think this is the way they should do it. Instead of continuing to write an entire rant to riot, I would like to recommend some alternatives I made up. Keep in mind I'm not an employee at Riot (although I'd like to be, hehe) and therefore not part of the balance team, so the numbers I give here are just examples and should most likely be tweaked to make a healthy item.

First off, I had the idea of making the sightstone itself more fun to play around. I understand there's no way to include a fun active, but did we forget about the other option? A passive? how cool would it be to have a passive involving vision and warding, such as "For every item 2049/item 2045 ward on the map, gain +2 gold/5 sec" I think this idea doesn't only stimulate supports to ward, but also to look for enemy wards and clear them. There should then obviously be a change to the item 2049 to differentiate the item 2049 ward from the item 3340 trinket. Say it only has 2 health instead of 3.

Or if you want to make it more tactical and proactive, maybe do this instead: "For every item 2049/item 2045/item 3340/item 3363/item 2055 ward on the map, your ward health will increase by 1" and if that's too strong, you could potentially put a cap on the max health of a ward.

Or

"When an enemy champion is in vision range of your ward, gain +15 gold (30 sec cooldown)"

Maybe even make it like a bank, to put in a gold generating passive which the player achieves after the ward has been killed (Although this could create game health problems since you would be punished indirectly for destroying a ward)

What I mean to say is that there's plenty of fun ways to play around vision, and doing so would make warding extremely rewarding for good supports (which seems like the goal you want to achieve) But removing the fun and interesting actives and quest rewards currently on item 3069, item 3092 and item 3401 could cause a great deal of problems for current support players, not to mention certain supports which play around the items so much removing them would be a direct nerf to them (Rakan+item 3069 , Blitzcrank+item 3401 , Morgana+item 3092)

There's no reason to remove sight advantage, someone in the high tier or competitive scene complained about it
