Who is more beneficial for a team - Nasus or Darius?
I cannot decide which champion I should play more, as I enjoy both of them. Which one is better for team fights and generally more useful for winning? Thanks for your time.

Infinitely stacking Q, Or dunks? The age old question.
Nasus has a lot of mid game potential, but for games that are extended for a lot of time, I would say that Darius is better, because while Nasus is a beast that can 2 shot squishies late game, he lacks mobility, hard CC, and is easy to kite and vulnerable to CC himself.
That said, Darius has all of those problems too (save for the hard CC problem, as pull is a great hard CC). However, Darius works very well as a bodyguard that can peel for his teammates, so even though he falls off late game, he has a slighty better late game than Nasus, since he can peel very well for his teammates and punish anyone who goes into melee range against him.

>this entire comment probably the most misguided balance comment I've ever read
Do you want a strong early/mid, or a strong mid/late? Darius and Nasus are both strong midgame, but Darius is better early and Nasus is better late. Darius falls off, since he is a bully, but his ult can be chained to devastating effect. Nasus doesn't have the best early game, but he can deal an assload of damage and take as much as he can dish out late-game.
Depends on your goals here.
Are you aiming to end the game by splitpushing and skirmishing midgame followed by rapidly taking objectives? The best pick would be Nasus then.
Are you aiming on destroying your opponent in the early game and then forcing them into a near useless state while you and your team try to push with the advantage? Then your best bet would be Darius.
Both champions are a pretty different style from each other.
Nasus being a splitpushing god capable of even 2v1ing if snowballying hard enough and forcing attention to be drawn to him. He is also an incredibly powerful skirmisher and at catching people out of position (assuming he has someone to followup with some hard CC to chain off his wither). He is also tanky as balls too boot.
Darius on the other hand is an early game god that will shove your face into the dirt and grime and keep it there for a good long while. He is tanky as hell, and (similar to Nasus) forces the enemy to pay attention to him otherwise they will have a real problem on their hands. He is great at getting an early advantage and demoralizing the enemy team, thus forcing a 20 minute surrender. He is also an excellent peeler for his teammates and is really strong at counterengaging as well. That being said, if he doesn't win in the early/midgame then chances are he is going to have a really rough time as his lategame is pretty poor (worse in some ways than Nasus, less in others).
Honestly, I say pick whichever suits your team the most and learn both champions. Nothing wrong in being good at more than 1 champ.
Daruis. Nasus is only good for teamfights late game when he is fed and has alot of stacks.
Daruis can cause bleed, pull champs in, a great ult, and is a tank.
Ive seen alot of nasus players just farm when the team was fighting and sometimes never saw a teamfight they just farmed the whole game.
the mentality of nasus players farming is nothing to do with the quality or lackthereof of the champion. and no, nasus isn't so strong late because he is so easily kited, plus carries and supports will have stun/cc-breaks (wither) or invulnerability (zhonyas). generally the time you'll have the highest impact is around third item, since at that point the enemy ADC has to decide between building armour penetration, lifesteal or a qss, and the more they delay their qss the better for you. but nasus is generally just far too easy to peel off since he has absolutely no gap closers.
I think its the build, to me I think he is a great hybrid (tank and AP) for everytime I see a Nasus shrek is when they have a good amount of stacks and are tanks. They can be at the front lines, have a great slow that can stop the ADC, and can tank very well.
But even I would like to have alot of q stacks, so you have a higher chance of farming than walking around with teamates. Does Daruis fall off late game? sorta, but he is still a good bully and bodyguard.
You typically don't build much if any AP at all. Typical lategame Nasus build is Full Tank with a Triforce or Iceborn Gauntlet. His Q is where the damage traditionally is at late game.
I say typically and traditionally because it's what it most common.
AP Nasus is beast at AoE damage though.
Nasus can tank far better than Darius. Darius's only CC isn't better than Nasus's Wither.
You can't two shot towers and objectives like Nasus with Darius. You get to dunk every time you Q.
hue
Okay my honest opinion. Nasus is good and all in lower elos. But as the ranks grow higher Darius keeps his strength and man when you master him. He is a monster. My record speed for a full stack bleed is about 1s (aa,Q,aa,W aa, E, aa, hydra to aa reset, aa, ult if necessary). And on top of this Darius is very good at pushing objectives. He has the waveclear and damage to chunk towers and can hold his own against 2 people. Darius can shut out your lane opponent and is more capable of carrying as well.
Darius actually offers more to a team fight in a higher elo game due to the pull. It can be devestating. Nasus often gets kited to death while trying to stick to someone. Even in late game in high elos Darius out performs because he doesn't rely on a permanent stacking mechanic to be strong and has more utility in his pull than Nasus has in his wither (helps that his pull is so buggy and pulls people from miles away).
My opinion on this matter. You don't have to like it.
Midgame,
has a Darius ult on 2.4 sec CD. Think about it.
Nasus if you are good at stacking Qs as he's viable both jungle and top. Even if your team is doing poorly, you can still smack down towers if you are playing well.
Nasus jungle is terrible. You either tax your laners so hard they lose whatever lead you may have given them or you end up with half the stacks of top lane Nasus.
Nasus falls off late-game and is really only useful in teamfights since his mid-game is so absurd. If you're late-game as Nasus your only hope is literally just splitpushing.
Darius is only really incredibly relevant if the enemy team picks several backline-diving tanks/bruisers. He'll do really well against something like a Nocturne or Renekton but won't really be that useful against a more slippery comp with less reason to be near anything.
nasus can reply on defensive runes, masteries and item and kill anyone that darius cant nasus can dive that darius cant... nasus can push the lane so hard that darius cant nasus can escape that darius cant nasus can assist or debuff that darius cant (if darius didnt touch anyone) nasus is more reliable than darius from mid-late
bonus... nasus can comeback so easily that darius cant... stacks Q and his ult is basically op....
DOES NASUS LOSE STACKS UPON DEATH? if so he gets visibly weaker with every death, which means a comeback would be really hard, since someone who could barely kill u, has it easier each time u die.

no... stacks is permanent after the death...
i never played him, i had always assumed that he ( like cho'gath) lost stacks for dying. if that's the case then how do nasus's lose games? if killing u doesn't set u back at all. i mean st some point the enemy laner will leave his lane, so u will get to farm, so how do still lose the a game????? nasus mains must secretly suck.
nasus can dive that darius cant...
Nasus can dive, Darius can choose not to dive and just pull them out of turret.
nasus can push the lane so hard that darius cant
Nasus can push on turrets very hard, but Darius with a RH can clear a minion wave (without siege) in literally 2 seconds, and heal from it.
Nasus is more for mid-late, Darius is for early. Darius can pull and kill an enemy in a matter of seconds, excluding tanks, while Nasus has to walk up to a champion to do anything. Nasus does mostly single-target damage, Darius can do a good amount of low cooldown AoE. Nasus can't do anything earlygame, and can be hard-countered fairly easily. Darius excels at level 3 and level 6, and is hard to counter in lane.
They're two completely different playstyles.

darius's e is pretty short range... not enough to burst if the opponent at 50%+ and the bleed will make the turret agro on you early while you attempt to dive...
nasus's e is much efficient and quick than darius' push.. darius is not split pusher because he has no escape mechanic...
nasus' e and r are aoe... much efficient
yes different playstyle but nasus can do anything he wants... nasus is pretty strong laner tho... if darius made a mistake then darius will be fall so hard...
Everything regarding utility, power, late-game, early-game is all irrelevant.
It's about your team comp and who you're matched against.
DARIUS EARLY-MID GAME, NASUS FOR LATE GAME.
When do you want to make your opponents hate their lives?
Early game
or late game
?
reason is nasus lost is ... extremely high sustain raio to damage (strong early such as garen, rumble, tryn)... hard ganks (duo or triple ganks), excellent supporter (keep adc away from nasus), and kitable (you only weither one,,, and your team cant win the teamfight)
If you are good at getting ahead early and roaming/teleporting, then you want Darius. He can snowball pretty hard and carry the team early/mid. If you can't do that well, you want Nasus.
I'd say Darius just because all of the new items that have been introduced this season benefit him far more than they do Nasus. Darius's weakness has always been that he can't initiate fights all that well and is kited rather easily, but pick up a
and suddenly those weaknesses doesn't seem nearly as relevant anymore. All Nasus is good for later on in the game is split pushing and is a mediocre teamfighter unless the enemy teams peeling and kiting is particularly bad or you're far enough ahead as a team that it doesn't matter what champion he is.
Axe guy: "get to my carries if you can" Doge: " hai team I go in" /enemy team cries/
IMO:
Darius is better in Solo. He wins lane consistently, has a lot of kill pressure on his own and gets fed easily, is better against most pubstompers (e.g. Riven). He does not rely on his team to drag the game and his ult reset allows to ks carry fights. In fact Darius is better in teamfights overall, especially chaotic ones. He can also interrupt channels by himself.
However, in organized 5vs5, Darius is much easier to counter (more peel, more jungle interaction). For this reason, he has more trouble carrying late game, even when ahead, so his habit of getting all the kills can become a disadvantage for his own team: late game you may wish that gold went to your APC/ADC instead.
On the other hand, Nasus is a beast if you draft the right team around him. If you can ensure the early laning phase goes well and can coordinate well, he becomes THE best splitpusher in the game. The enemy team needs to send several champions to even have a chance of killing him, and that still takes forever, meanwhile his team is getting uncontested objectives. If they don't answer the splitpush, Nasus will crush their base by himself.

Situational really, you want an early game monster that can snowball or a late game monster that can q people to death in one hit?
the only reason i say nasus is that he is the biggest late game scaler of all league of legends
Darius is early game while Nasus is late game
