An important Ahri's w issue to fix

Ahri isnt actually the center of the spell, every fox fire has his own "range" and this happen often You will use your spell near to the ennemy but they wont go on him

Every time you use the w in lane as Ahri, you can only have one or two fox fires going into the ennemi even if you are close to him and this is an important issue to fix because it's totaly random to trade in lane with this spell.

Im doing this post now since you are doing a kind of rework on Ahri and i think it's important for you to know that and to fix that

I got nothing more to say, this spell is not reliable in lane. The W needs a rework ASAP.

Not so much a rework just a coding/usability fix.

Make all foxfires function as if they are in the center of Ahri
Increase range by like 10-25 to compensate, nothing huge

Please just change it for Ahri to be the center of their orbit and to prioritize champs. Or to prioritize whatever Ahri is attacking once cast.

That wad because when you pressed w , Twisted Fate wasn't in the W range xD , only 1 Fox Fire hit him because the charn brought him there

That's the whole point. Each indivual fox fire has its one range central to the foxfire itself. The change he wants is that so the range radius for all 3 start at ahri so it can be consistent or what the other guy said let them lock on to charmed targets

Then be closer so tf is the closest thing to all of the fox fires. Fox fire is not the least reliable skill in the game. Arhi's and mages in general like to complain about about xxx could be just a bit better for me as if any champion in the game cant do that. Immagine having your dash take 0.75 seconds before it goes any where and you can be stopped if you get cc'ed while still being slow and not going far and then self stunned again at the end. Immagine having a dash that takes you away from where you want to go then lets you go that direction but its not very far and just as much could walk it. Immagine having being melee with scaling armor and magic resist for 8 second active spell for how much ad and ap you have respectively but having less base hp base armor and base magic resist than the average mage or adc. gaining 200% armor and magic resist for until you take damage and it fades after two seconds as a tank but you have less armor and magic resist than a mage or adc. Being locked out of actions when you cast spells generally with no massive chunk damage pay off. Arhi's kit more than makes up for fox fires inconsistency by giving her tons of safety and mobility. People like to talk alot about changing fox fire but the thing thats most out of place in arhi's kit is her Q not W. Since season 3 tanks items are 60% as effective as they were during that time and tanks were considered weak in season 3

I really agree with you , the W needs a rework or at least a fix . With the little delay change on the PBE , I think the spell could be more reliable on lane if Ahri was the center of the Range .

I also saw a rework that could be great on W , making your others spells stacking on an ennemy (Like Kalista's spears or Twitch Poison) and activate the W to unleash the foxfire on ennemy , damaging them according to how many stacks they have

If I recall, they have made the W work this way on purpose when they first made Ahri.

As a fellow Ahri player however? This ability's tracking kind of stinks because of it... I have to get very close to my enemy just to ensure that all of them would land - And that is a dangerous place to be as a squishy mage champ, even if you got a 3-dash ult.

I think it wasn't much of a problem till riot nerfed the range of foxfires in season 5.

why dont they just make her e landing a bit more rewarding? increase the range of w, and if you land your e, your w lock on the charmed champion. this would fix the problem and is still usable for pushing purposes.

They decreased W range because it was too strong for trading in lane.

Actually they nerfed the W range when she got the Q MS since combined with the MS the range was making her too safe.

Champion needs a buff so badly. Her damage early and mid game is so bad compared to other mages / assassins. Most top mid laners that ever pick ahri once in a blue moon max her E second then W last just because of how awful the ability is.

Be cool it stacked up over time to 3/4/5 bolts (could be more or less) and then you casted one every time you press w so you can save them and use it to farm or burst.

Or you could just give it something like. "This ability prioritizes champions under the effect of ahris charm" giving her more single target burst cause tbh if you play ahri and don't get fed you just do shit for all in damage.

You all know if ahri came out as a new champion today her e would reset her q or some shit and her q would do true damage all the time and her w would slow. And her ult would mark champions so that if you damage with an auto the marked target you do % missing health damage or something. And then your passive would be "generic stacking passive that does some form of damage"

Do i think she needs that? No not really im fine with her kit now the E buff on the PBE should put her right back in the meta if the ult change in testing goes through though your in for a treat :3 5 dash cool down resetting ahri incoming lul.

They know this, and they've known it for years. In fact, it's intentional. It's to pressure Ahri into getting up close and personal with whoever she's trying to burst.

I absolutely do not agree with this, but it's the way Riot wanted it. I really hope they change it.
