I just don't get it how are you meant to improve if all you get put in is bronze. when there is a new season you should start a fresh not pulled down by all this hidden number bullshit your first 10 games should determine your starting rank, not this stupid hidden number that follows you like a bad smell no matter where you go in your lol career I got about 10 games of decent players and moved up to bronze 4... not much I know but still but then as soon as I got into bronze 4 I got matched with people who either trolled or just didn't care or just weren't that good that fired be back to 0 LP. i know I am better than that I know I can do better but how the hell are you meant to get better when all you can go on is stupid people. please, riot don't use this matchmaking number that we can't see in ranked its imfurating. all I feel like I can do is make a new account get rid of all my skins all my progress all my everything to get anywhere

Than a challenger player can end in silver and till he reach to high elo he will just stomp players and that's just bad time for whom ever playing against him (and with him, one sided games are boring)

Try to play hard carry 1v3 rhat can split push and take turrets fast, and try to macro manage your team - when go to team fights, when split, where the jngler is, where to be when and why when the objectives are up,

You can't win them all there always be some trolls and people who not care but the games when people do care it will really help, also try to find other players to duo withe, it will help

I mean if you are around a %50 W/L then you are in the correct league technically. Showing mmr wouldn't change the people you play against because you are that Elo. That being said you could creat another account and start around S4 if you truly believe you are better.

I tanked this account, got below 50% in plat, so switched to my other and am D4 now with 60%. Sometimes starting fresh during a season helps your mindset:

some people think everyone should start in bronze every season.

I voted no but here's why. I think using prior season mmr is good because games at the start of the season are already a clusterfuck. If you reset players mmrs then I would have true bronze players on my team that would tilt me because I can't even stand most the silver players on my team. Also, then you would have diamond/plat players in your games as well. This basically happened in flex queue at start of the season since it was new and omg was it a shit show. Well who am I kidding... flex queue is still a shit show.

I just don't like their placement system in general. Its not very good at placing players to begin with. And then the start of the season doesn't really make sense because 10 games somehow can make a huge difference.

What I would like to see is this. If they going to keep the same system... then at least make placements similar for previously similar mmr players. So if I have a starting mmr of gold 3 (season 6 ending rank) and I do band in placements, I shouldn't be placed 4-5 divisions lower than someone who does ok in their 10 game placements. Anyone who has played a season knows 10 games is nothing. You need to play hundreds to reach true rank.
