How is Ahri in the meta in the higher ranks?

I'm.. only silver 5 and uh I main . I don't really play ranked cause my friends only play normal games. I played ranked in the past week and climbed from b3 to s5 very quickly using Ahri. Right now, in my opinion, Ahri is very freelo in the low ranks. My ranked score with her is 15 wins and 1 lose. So I was wondering how good she is in the higher ranks, Any higher rank Ahri mains out there?

I've decided to continue my quest to climbing the ranks with Ahri cause it seems to be working! <3

She's meta because of how easy she is to play and how high her burst damage is.

Ahri is strong in all elos.

She has a strong, dynamic, skill based kit.

She has mobility, poke, true damage, sustain, auto targeting abilities, a skill shot silence/cc that is great for engages and harassment, and her ultimate deals great damage along with giving her great mobility.

The fact that she is also fairly old also means that she is very familiar. Despite having had a very small rework, her kit is very largely unchanged so higher elo players feel very comfortable playing her.

people overestimate her her early sucks pretty hard (damagewise) leblanc is also a better ahri so if you face a good one hf trying to do anything because a good lb can shut down ahri pretty easily she is good at punishing mistakes and poor positioning (common in ranked) so i think that explains her high winrate she isnt op or broken just okay if you know what you are doing

she is well rounded, not really great at one thing but has a lot of things going for her so you can't really go wrong.

I don't see too many ahri's in my ranked games unless she is first picked (I am Gold I).

It seems people are more likely to pick other midlaners that are considered to be better at specific things such as Anivia Cassiopeia Gangplank Malzahar Leblanc Lissandra Viktor Velkoz . Almost all these midlaners I see a lot more often than Ahri, but Ahri is perfectly fine. She is pretty balanced, but other midlaners I think are stronger than her at the moment. I see Viktor almost every third game and prior the patch I saw GP mid every game he was not banned it seemed.

she's one of the most meta mid laners there are... if you are good with her you can pretty much win any game that you snowball in.
