Safe TO leave feature

Hey have you ever gone into a match and someone is dc'ed the whole game or someone rage quits after dying twice. Unfortunately I just got out of one, within the first 5-10 mins you can see who will win the match in the 4 v 5. Most times it is a blowout and you're stuck in the game for 20 mins and that's only if your teammates aren't perseverant at 3-40 and surrender. There is a solution though!!!

Dota has this wonderful feature where they allow the player 5 mins to reconnect and if they don't then they are penalized and the game is safe to leave, not wasting the thing you value most, your time. If you follow suit after someone they will be penalized first making your penalization null and void because they made the game safe to leave. It allows you time to reconnect if there are network issues but also allows you to leave a pointless game. What do you guys think? Upvote if you like it leave comments and concerns as well.

P.S To implement it into ranked you can double the penalization (LP Loss) for the leaver and lessen the LP lost for others due to the imbalance. I just think it is silly not to add this feature due to the amount of leavers there are in games like these.
