Balance in Ranked Games/Make smurfing a violation of TOS

Ranked games are supposed to be a competition between evenly matched players in an effort for advancement and improvement of player skill. The last few games that I have solo queued into have been a mismatch of players of laughably different skill levels. Normal games should be doing the same but I can understand if there is less of a call for it. Matchmaking in ranked should NOT be on the back burner rito. Also, getting into a ranked game with a smurf who is a MUCH higher elo makes things difficult as well. Players who smurf should be banned on the smurf account. There is no reason to have multiple accounts and allowing them to decimate lower elo players simply because they're having a hard time at their own skill level. It makes the lower tier players mad and not want to play the game.

A player will get to there ranking despite random smurfs it's just a matter of how long the grind is, and the grind by designed is suppose to be hundreds of games.

Only reason I keep mentioning solo queue is due to, when i queue with others, I don't seem to have the issue (as long as it's not solo/duo queue).

Can you show specifically where it violates the terms of service? Edit: sorry I misread, you're suggesting it be not claiming it is

Yep. Just suggesting it be added to the Terms of Use since it's not already there. There's mention of "boosting" being a violation as well as even allowing other players on the account in the first place but not creating an entirely new account to "smurf" on.

No? Care to expound on that?

I thought it was pretty self explanatory. Smurfing shouldnt' be against the TOS.

So no meaningful reason just personal opinion? Gotcha.

Yes.

First off, you wouldn't know what the smurf is or what the main account is, unless Riot is doing some serious stalking.

Also, people don't smurf just because they are having a hard time in their rank, they do it for various reasons. Some do it for glory, some do it for friends, others do it for stupid shit!

Friends I get but when they go into a lower elo game it makes it a pain for other players to compete. Stupid stuff. Seen that one too. But glory? Explain that one. Also, IP addresses are stored on the login servers and they are linked with the individual accounts. Wouldn't be too hard to figure out which is a smurf account.

For glory, I mean to accomplish things, such as getting to plat in a certain amount of games, or to try and place in gold in your first placements. As for the IP addresses, it could be another family member logging on :D
