So can someone please explain to me how i go 8/2 in my provisionals and get B5? I played support every time and had over 30 assists everyime with low deaths. I would honestly like to know how this happens..

Its based on your mmr, not your performance. My guess is you started at 0 mmr and went 8/2, thus you end up at b5 mmr. Also the person you duo queued with for many games is at Bronze 4, forcing your matches to be played at a lower mmr rather than a higher one. You would've been better to play solo or find a friend whos in silver. Last season I was placed in silver 5 despite losing 7 provisionals. My duo queue partner was in silver 3 so the opponents i was getting queued into were at the same rank and my mmr was dragged upwards.
