Why are non trad adcs looked so bad on

I have been playing zyra as an adc lately. Whenever I get a cooperative team I never do bad. However most games ill play it my team will spend most of the game raging at me and well end up losing really hard. I'll get a support who thinks he has to carry me and try to take all the gold. All that does is put you way behind it doesnt help anything at it assures your team will win. I'm not here trying to say that zyra is an amazing adc. however she does have a long attack range good starting ad and a lot of cc for an adc. Even a good amount of extra dmg from her plants cause her base dmg stats are pretty good. It can work very well if your team just rolls with it. I've had games were i destroy teams as zyra adc. I've even carried games, I believe the biggest thing holding off adcs back is this community and just don't understand how a community built around the internet cannot be open to new ideas especially if its well thought out. I'd love to see a conversation start about this and to see riot games start opening up to ideas other then their own. Open the game up to whatever don't hold your own game back because you want the game to be 100% your own.
