i was doing well in a game as yasuo top and after the game ended i had a score of 11/3/8 and got a b+. but my teammate annie (mid) got an s from 11/3/6. (more info) enemy team had a really bad score 2/6/1, 0/9/4, 10/9/1, 0/11/1 and 3/7/1. my team was 11/3/8 (me), 5/4/9 , 11/3/6 (annie) 0/5/11 and 15/0/2. and i am also followed by a xin on top for some reason ( no i didnt instant lock and i didnt think xin called anything). if a riot can reply that would be amazing. oh and one more thing, annie had 192 cs and i got 108 cs cause i had to share with xin. i dont know if cs will make a difference or not might as will let you know.

Because kills don't matter that much in grading. 108 cs is garbage, especially on yasuo

I had to share with another person cause hes not going jungle if you look at my yasuo match history i have pretty high cs except when i have him as a support

Other yasuos with supports probably consistently do better, making it harder to get an S.

I put " i got 108 cs cause i had to share with xin"for a reason bud :P

That's great, but the game doesn't care.

Yasuos don't get S anymore cause you really don't have to put in any effort to win with him ;/

You need to put in effort when you are playing him. He needs proper use of his abilities to let him shine if you dont use him correctly you cant win any games. Hes not just point and click champion. Like riven mains, most yasuo mains try hard almost every game. It gets them to feel good when they outplay or just out trade their enemy.therefor your statement will be false for me because most yasuo players put their full focus on every game they play as yasuo.

the key to getting an s is to get gud, playing a champ that already has the key build in makes it nearly unreachable because said champ would need an outrageous score (kda, getting first blood, taking forst turrent, perfect cs) to get an s

I know i have to get gud bud xd only level 24 trying to one trick yasuo and so far a level 6

You are being compared vs all Yasuo, and currently he can destroy vs so many champs. You can pretty much count on someone being lee sin in jungle and yas mid/top every game now. I have seen so many Yasuo score 2-3 times your kills and assists. And there are so many people playing that it makes it much more difficult to outplay and get your S. Your score is nowhere near high enough for a Yasuo with that farm count.

Farm makes all the difference as well. You can have mediocre k/d/a and as long as you a monster CS you get better grades. Basically it encourages people to steal farm and ignore their team.

When I can have an almost perfect game as a jungler and carry my team to a win with lead in k/d/a, wards, and kill participation but lower CS to score an A+ and then play the same champ, seclude myself in jungle and farm empty lanes all game to get 250+ cs with low everything else and lose the game and get S........something is broken.

I played Taric top with 6/1/3 and 134 cs for an S+ while Cait on my team with 7/0/7 and 98 cs got an A. Riot compares your score to all other people at around your same rank on the same champion. Cait averages way higher cs and KDA than Taric so she needs to score way higher than him to achieve an S rank. The same can be said for Yasuo.

I don't understand it either. One time I went 9/1 with jinx, and got an A-. another time I went 6/4 with cait, a champ that I don't own, and got an s.

Because the system by which you receive your grade has the layout of matching your performance against other players of similar rank, same champion, same build, AS WELL AS your k/d/a. it's not strictly your KDA, cs matters a lot as well. If you play a game as an adc and have any less than 200 cs by 20 minutes, 300 by 30 and 400 by 40 you are likely to not recieve a good grade.
