Don't get a minion! You're a support!

I'm currently playing in TW server and played LOL since S2, and I really don't like any META (meta champions, meta items, whatever I mostly play a support role, but why RIOT you have to stop me from farming in the mid-game and you don't even let me poke to steal some money

Do supports only need to be utility support? how about mage support and assassin support? why do you make Pyke then (oh he got an ult that can earn money so he is okay... COME ON........

junglers can farm their jungle and you're denying the yi and karthus strategies, it's ok (but not preferred supports can only wait for the additional money per second... (and its only 0.3/s i would rather back to S2, at least I can stack 4 support items

there is no rule preventing you from taking CS (not even the support minion rule that reduces gold from minions) so if you are a support and want to take a handful of minions then take the minions. if the adc gets pissy they can go fuck themselves. the minions belong to nobody.

I agree. Supports do not magically gain tons of gold. They need kills as well as the ADC. Granted, its more important for the ADC to level than the support...it shouldn't be 100% ADC and 0% Support CS. But it probably shouldn't be 50/50 either.

A good time to farm is when your ADC goes back to get items or recover. Assuming you're well off enough to stay, you can stick near the tower or your own minions and grab some of the enemy ones. It's about maintaining a good balance.

Personally, I never even complain about KS. Cause the enemy still died, and odds are I got an assist at least. Yeah the kill would've been better, but sometimes you're not sure if someone is actually gonna get the kill or not. Happens to me alot when I play Gangplank, since his ULT can literally go anywhere on the map.

Bottom Line: The game is still a team game. Support is part of the team, so they need their fair share as well.
