Why am I getting diamond and plat players in my game? Their mmr is far higher than mine but i still get queued with them, granted their better teammates and enemies but I don't care I want to play in the ELO i was placed in which is Silver, so PAIR me up with silver or gold players no 3 or 2 elos above me. Maybe if i was paired with players in the proper elos i could climb more steadily instead of playing plat games in silver.

Theres also the possibility that you may have abnormally high mmr as well (that doesn't match your ranking). How much lp are you gaining each win? 20+? From youtube knowledge that tends to indicate you have higher mmr than your actual rank which could explain why you're getting matched up against higher tiers?

Because normal and ranked have two different MMRs.
