Why Solo Queue isn't worth the time

So I recently finished my 10 games to be ranked. Having completed them, I achieved Silver 1, which was pretty good, and thinking that getting to gold 5 and finally getting that portrait would be a piece of cake. Boy was I ever wrong. Riot's ranked system for solo queue is the most broken piece of s**t I have ever witnessed. Literally a month after getting Silver 1, and not playing too much ranked but decided to duo queue with a friend bot lane, I preceded to lose almost every single game because of toxic teammates that simply do not care whether our team wins or loses. This is why that your rank does not matter AT ALL unless you are diamond or above. If you have achieved this, then hats off to you, you've just climbed through the most broken ranking system in any game officially ever. This needs to be fixed, because a player can be diamond or platinum material and still never make it there simply because they are matched with people who do not care about lp loss at all and instead spend 30-45 minutes ruining your day and wasting your time trying to climb the ranking system.

also he needs to either a flat out remove chat or start hyper focusing the root of toxic beviour. feeders afks purposly bullshitting allies. as much as hes focused on the chat.

i can feed and bm virtually every game and never get a restriction as long as i dont chat.

im not like that never will be, ops talking about the massive increase of players doing what i said is a root cuase of toxic players more often then not in ranked.

im currently b3. im easliy a silver play. its 100% depedent on my team if i win or lose

i do have a few bad games but more oftehn then not ill go 4/2 or 3/1 in lane. two of my teammates will be 0/6...

my most toxic line that game was 2 mins later after the screen shot.

was more or less what i said. i was getting blamed for not being able to save some who was hyper aggressive had 2 feeders bot.

i got ever single dragon stole or soled i made sure i got them all in 5 mins after the screen shot 3 mins after saying im going try hard. i got a triple and 2 more mins later another triple.

enemy team ahd 45 kills 24 of which was my bot lane..... meaning slightly over half are problems was bot who was impossible to help

You are right, he does need to be less transparent, we need the Tribunal's full logs back because expecting people not to rage when being raged at is bullshit.

True, feeders, FEEDER, not people who have bad games, need to go. Reminder, going 3/10/12 is a bad game, 0/40/0 is feeding, people need to realize that.

This right here, is bullshit, I am literally prove that this is bullshit. Saying ONE thing doesn't get you banned, a couple of matches ago, I begged my allies to surrender, I flipped on an ally who flamed me who fed, etc etc, not...even...a warning. While the system does need a fix and/or change, this isn't true. One game doesn't get you on the shit list, it doesn't.

It happens to everyone, no one likes it, people blame each other, etc, but THAT is never going to go away, ever. There is never going to be a system that can remove every toxic player ever outright, unless the system to win and lose was adjust to make it so it knew when you started tilting it gave you a team to 100% win with, people are always going to rage...forever.

banned no restricted yes... shit list from my pov means your flagged. toxic or not your flagged for worse treatment. i know becuase i rarely go crazy with the chat only time im truly toxic is when im super tilted cuase ive had 10 games in a row with feeders and or afks its happened...

I know from personal experience now that one case of flipping out doesn't get you restricted, or warned. While I do see that as a bit unfair to be looked over a bit more harshly then others, I understand it as well. This happens in real life with criminals where they are suspected of committing crime again and thus get harsher sentences in hope they stop altogether, you are effectively on a shit list and it is hard to get off, but then it comes down to you shouldn't have flamed in the person place. Honestly, this is why we need the Tribunal back, because we are left with just assuming the best or worst with any real poof, where as the logs didn't lie.

Correcting them is fine, but at the point where they are 0/20, nothing you say is going to be constructive, you are pissed they fed and chances are, nothing you say to them is actually going to be positive.

When you duo, you stack the deck against your team, just as a word of warning. So unless you have AMAZING synergy, and I mean, that the two of you play about a division ahead of everyone else, even smurfs, you're probably hurting the team more than helping.

Over a long enough period of games, you WILL climb if you are better, provided you don't give up free wins with rage/AFKing yourself. It will take time.

essentially what you are saying is that what you do in a game doesn't matter to much because of your teammates. And that people who make it to diamond got lucky because they got carried half of the time. When you say rank doesn't matter you are wrong because it does show your skill level. And if it doesn't it will change rapidly. I got placed bronze 1 this season and now I'm plat 4. Guess what blaming others for losing is not the way to climb. When we are bad at the game we don't notice it. IF you try and look at your own play, and make changes after watching other people play you will improve your gameplay.

This is just another butthurt post of someone who doesn't recognize what they are doing wrong in a game. Ask higher level people, get advice from them and watch streamers/ lcs play.

How exactly were you able to climb from b1 to plat 4, any tips you can share. I was in silver last season, after provisional I got placed in Bronze 3, climbed to Bronze 1 an now its like I'm stuck. I don't want to get on a rant but its kind of hard to climb when you consistently grouped with people that doesn't understand the importance of warding an map awareness an have died 5 times by 12 minutes. I'm probably trying to climb the impractical way, which is by support so maybe that is my first mistake, but I really enjoy the role. Maybe I can view some of your games an you view mines. I'm always looking to learn more so that I can consistently get better. At least learn what I can do better to have a greater game influence to improve. My ign is Draji.

Hey man I'd love to play together in a normal game sometime. If i can watch you play directly I can help you a lot. I main support also so I can help you with that!

To be honest when I was bronze 1 I spammed lee sin jungle. Why? Because in bronze the game is more determined by who snowballs the game early. So I picked early game champs and put other so far behind that we could win the game easily. For adc I think cattilyn is a strong pick or so is graves. I think for mid ahri and leblanc are great at doing this. Xin is an easier jungler and also has early game pressure. (btw I'm not recommending you to try to learn lee sin or to play him, I just played him because I knew I was good at him)

Once I hit about silver 1-2 I changed and started to focus on one role only. I started playing only supports, watching support streamers, watching the lcs supports, and learning pro builds and setups from prebuilds.net. I climbed got stuck in gold 5 and eventually got better at the game and climbed to where I am now.

The biggest tip I can give you is that you need to figure out what you are doing wrong in games you lose. One of the biggest parts of the support role is champion select. If you have first pick and don't know much about their team comp I usually always go thresh because I'm confident on him and its a safe pick into most all things. If the enemy picks blitz I pick leona and body block every hook for an initiation. If they go leona I go morgana and make sure my adc is safe. If they go thresh I go morgana because she is generally safe against him. I also go janna whenever they have assassins because she counters assassins if used correctly. For instance I picked morgana when they had a sej jungle leblanc mid and annie support, because her spell shield counters them all.

Theres lots of small things like this that go into carrying games and mechanics also matter a lot. I can just say that you should take note of every death you have in game and how it could have been avoided. Should you have chosen a different champ in champ select, did you play too aggressive with no wards, and they have a lee sin jungle who's been ganking a lot. Did you push up to far in lane without sweeping the brush and now your lane got tp ganked and got fk'd. The people that play around these things improve a lot in game quickly.

Lastly add me and we can play bot together in a normal game and talk about stuff!!!
