Tryndamere needs a rework

He really is a stupid design. He is too naturally tough, does too much damage, has the most broken ult in the entire game. But most importantly he breaks the glass cannon rule and is completely unfun to play against. They rework champions like Fiora and Yi who were completely fine (they turned fiora into a true damage monster but thats another story) but leave captain 5 seconds alone for all this time?

The three things people say to beat him are,

Buy armour - The amount I would need to successfully hold off a Tryndamere is so insane thats its not a proper counter, not to mention if their team has a mage heaven forbid. CC him - oh real fucking original, the same could be said of anyone in the entire game. Waste every bit of CC on a single person and not even be guaranteed to kill him.
Run away when his ult is active - Yeap, he has a slow, a gap close and the items he get give him movement speed. Good idea.

Now im sure there are some comps that can beat him easy enough, but the problem lies in that the wrong comp against a tryndamere and you cant win, period. I hate Trydnamere with a passion. You can't focus him because of his ult and you cant ignore him because of his damage, how does this make any sense. Literally the only strat is to blow all CC on him and hope to god that the rest of his team are attacking you with feather dusters and pillows and not actually capable of dealing any damage whatsoever.

He suffers the same "counterplay" champions like Irelia, Galio and Maokai do - "deal more damage". That's literally it. Outstat him if you want to beat him. Though Rammus with a bramble vest is ok against him too. Not to mention Taric (provided the enemy team comp allows him to build mana items) is also a decent trynd counter during early laning.

Survive til bramble vest and he can't dive you until 6 items.

Gank him when he tries to all in at 2 or 3 and he won't be able to go near the wave and challenge cs again for 20 minutes.

Have proper wave control and his split push strategy becomes worthless.

Trynd is an amazing solo queue champion because solo queue players neglect the fundamentals in favor of fancy nonsense and Tryndamere punishes those mistakes. If you deleted Tryndamere from the game today then tomorrow all his players would be able to see almost the exact same results using the exact same strategy on Fiora, Jax, Aatrox, or a number of other champions.

if we're talking about VGU's, personally, I think Trynd is more due for a gameplay update, similar to Xin Zhao. I think there are other champions who scream "red flag alert, we need help ASAP." (Nunu Pantheon Amumu DrMundo Irelia Kayle Mordekaiser are bigger issues than Trynd, but that's just me. I could go on and on about the ones mentioned above) Trynd is only successful in low elo solo queue, because people often forget about him.

While I do agree that he needs a rework, as do others(Nunu, Garin and Teemo IMO), I don't feel that he is in any way a problem to play against. He has the same issue as all snowball champs, useless if not ahead, almost impossible to 1v1 when they have a lead. In team fights, he can be an problem for the back line if you don't have good peels. I have found that Vayne and Trist do very well against him since they get him to 10% before he can close and he is forced to Ult, they then can push him away and tumble/rocket jump backwards( if needed), he then has to run away since his Ult is down and one shot will kill him.
