He's free this week and i think i've only seen 1 jayce(besides myself). The last time i saw a jayce was probably the last time he was free. He does SOOO much damage.The acceleration gate into Shock blast combo can take off half a squishy's health bar. People at my elo love to complain about

zlumpy1 votesTakes more time to master, lots of work for not near as much payout, possibly a little over nerfed, doesn't have great itemization (thats my opinion not hard fact), and generally feels like too much work to be worth it.
Many people still love the champ just because of how he plays. I even enjoyed him for a while but then he took some hits that made him much less fun for me to play as him.
Best Aatrox NA1 votesOne of the top challenger players is a jayce main. Jayce isn't played because he is the definition of jack of all trades master of none. Varus pokes harder, ADCs deal more consistent DPS, other fighters have better engage tools, and other champions have more utility for their team. He's very good as a slot to fill into any team comp.
oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votesits that due to the current meta of picks/champs items with certain champs he got left along the way, he can be ok in the right pick/match up. but yes he can do tons of damage and back 2 seasons ago i got so sick of dealing with him top cuz he was hard on the champs i played that i picked up YORICK just because of jayce. last time i saw a jayce top i picked yorick into him and he hated life. jayce cant tank, he dont have any real engage, his knock back is ok for some disengage. but he isnt gonna flash in knockback insec lee style in the middle of a team fight. when you have a squishy support, a poke adc and a poke/supportive control mage picking jayce with that creates a gaping hole in the team comp.
but correct me if im wrong i never have played jayce but he seem he would be bad vs champs that can dive on to him such as

But also most people in this game are in a trance.......if its not in LCS its not getting played.
