why do some abilities force you to be in range to be cast

abilities like ori's q and vlad's ult forcing you to be in range screws me over cause i dont cast the ability when i mean to. is there a way to change it so it just casts as max range? edit:cast at max range if my mouse is far beyond the range of the actual ult

isn't that what buffering does spamm click it when you are walking towards there. something similar to spamm right click b4 flash to get an insta auto off Edit: no i think i understand what you meant altho dunno a fix anywya why would you not wanna be in range to cast R all your abilities are lwo ranged on vlad. And Ori tbh
